Looking back over the year do you have to admit things just didn’t turn out the way you had hoped? Unexpected setbacks…financial reversals… disappointments… failures… death of loved ones….mistakes… miscarriages ….. betrayals… need we go on?
As 2014 comes to a close, it’s a great time for reflection, learning from errors, plus pursuing God for direction and fresh motivation for going forward. A primary component for success in this coming year is remembering the importance of ‘perseverance’. Jesus told us in the parable of the sower that it was only by perseverance that an individual reaps the desired harvest (Luke 8:15).
For many, the year 2014 didn’t go well but to majority like myself, it was indeed a year of GRACE! Some didn’t start joyful but today ended in CELEBRATION! Some others started with celebration and merriment but ended in TEARS, SORROWS AND BROKENHEARTED!
BUT IN ALL THIS, IT IS IMPORTANT WE REMAIN THANKFUL!
If not for God, you would have lost ALL!
AS 2014 ENDS, PLEASE I WOULD LOVE TO ENCOURAGE US ALL TO BE VIGILANT, PRAYERFUL AND HAVE A GRATEFUL HEART AMIDST THE MERRIMENT AND CELEBRATION!
THE MISSING 162 PASSENGERS IN AIRASIA FLIGHT NEVER KNEW THEIR FAITH WHEN THEY BOARDED BUT NOW, THEY CAN’T BE FOUND. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THEIR FAMILIES.
LET’S ALL REMAIN IN A SOBER ATTITUDE OF APPRECIATION AS WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO CROSSING OVER INTO 2015 PEACEFULLY!
Good morning and have a great day today!
