Colors and Mood: How the Colors You Wear Affect You, Do You Agree?

Mega excited today. Hope your weekend was great like mine, I rested and feel so refreshed to start a new week.

To brighten your week, I choose THE SUNNY YELLOW which I call NHN YELLOW. I made some findings during the weekend about colours and what the say to ones personality when worn and I stumbled on an amazing article and I kind of believe what the author wrote because I saw me in my FAVOURITE colours

You’ve a happy disposition and are cheerful and fun to be with. You are creative, often being the one who comes up with new ideas. You tend to have your head in the clouds much of the time. You analyze everything, all the time, and are methodical in your thinking. You are impulsive and make quick decisions, but often, out of anxiety, jump in too quickly and rush things. You have a strong independent streak in you, and are selective with your choice of friends. You tend to hide your emotions, putting on a brave face in times of adversity. You have a modern outlook. New technology doesn’t faze you. You communicate well on a mental level with like-minded people, but can become bitter and sharp-tongued if crossed. You are good at networking and getting information out of others. You can be stubborn but dislike pettiness and spitefulness of all kinds. You are good at anything that involves the mind, rather than physical pursuits.

This I find absolutely interesting because most of which is true about me.

The colors we choose to surround ourselves affect us more than we think. As a society, we associate colors with so many different things – they have meanings beyond simple visual stimulation. Some studies even suggest that we feel colors more than we see them.

You probably know that interior designers use color to create different moods in different rooms – to inspire, energize, or calm. Why not apply that concept to your clothes? Channel some of the power of color into your outfits and see what happens.

Sunny shades of yellow are the perfect thing to cheer you up on a bad day, so if you’re feeling down, wearing yellow could help perk you back up. Yellow is also associated with intelligence and inspiration, so wearing something yellow on the day of your big final exam might help you come up with some extra answers. This is one colour I recommend for SINGLE LADIES! It’s catchy and can draw the attention of Mr. Right. Just joking!

But, what do you think? Let me know in the comment section!

More discussion during the week with combo ideas that compliment YELLOW! We will also be having a giveaway for easter, so stay tuned!
